General Manager
As General Manager for Anchor & Hope, Susan brings years of practical, hands on hospitality management and operational leadership with a passion for service, guest recognition and financial profitability. With over 12 years of restaurant management experience in the east bay, her keen eye and high standard of guest recognition will drive a strong customer base.
Rizer’s past includes management positions with Moana Hotel Restaurant Groups; Piatti Danville, Piatti Sacramento and Bay 13 in Portland, as well as Skates by the Bay and Sasa Izakaya Restaurant in Walnut Creek. Susan’s other interests are an avid passion of wine and sake, she has received her first level sommelier.
When she gets the chance she loves to spend her free time in Lake Tahoe snowboarding , antiquing and taking care of her house in Pleasant Hill. Susan is a Kentucky native and Western Kentucky University Alumni majoring in photojournalism.
